Open can of cards?

I have had this 'can of cards' for 10 years now....

do I just open it since it probably won't ever be worth something, or do I just leave it be?

It is 1997 Pinnacle Inside, the can has Cal Ripkin jr. on it.

First of all, it is from 1998, not 1997. (I have a few opened ones myself. I have a Gwynn, Gonzalez, & Clemens) That Ripken can is probably worth $15 alone, but who knows what is inside! I would put it up for auction make $20 to $30 off of it, & then everyone is happy.

Can says 1997, not 1998

all the cans I saw in completed ebay auctions were going for about $1. That is why I am now contemplating opening it

THere is nothing in those sets. I would leave it unopened. I have a whole case of Gold cans left un opened from the NFL set. Got like 3 Deions un opened.

There are actually some valuable inserts in that stuff. They are hard to pull, but I pulled like 40 dollar ripken insert last year. The Kmart by my house had those cans for sale for 50 cents or some crap. I opened 10, and got that ripken.
