as much as I hate him, the best BASE RUNNER, is Jeter, best base runner doesn't always mean the most steals, but also the smartest. That's how I look at it at least.

Figgins easily could have won it last year. He was amazing on the base paths. he was not nearly as good this year. My vote goes to Jacoby

not sure he is the "BEST" but I was at an Astros game last friday and watched Michael Bourn tag up from second... yes SECOND base on a pop fly to centerfield and score... YES on a POP FLY to the centerfield he scored from SECOND FREAKING BASE and NO there was no error on the catch OR throwing error to home... I have NEVER EVER seen that... that kid has wheels....too bad his on base percentage stinks LOL I have to find a link to the video...
video is on the SEPTEMBER 26th game WRAP UP on MLB.com its sweet!
