Clemente collectors/ fans, Please Read

On June 21, 2008.....The Pittsburgh Pirates will be doing a SGA Roberto Clemente Collector Plate. The plate is the size of a normal plate, and is extremely nice.

I will be doing the same as I did last year, providing the opportunity for all board members to get this collectible for the cost of a ticket + actual shipping. (I will add $1 to use Bubble wrap and peanuts in the boxes)

Here is how you help me. By buying these tickets, I offer the tickets to underpriviledged kids to attend the game for free. Last year, the clemente Statue of his 3000 th hit, I purchased over 100 tickets and 100 kids got to go to a ball game for free. You get the promo.

Its a win/win situation. I believe the tickets will be in the $15-$20 range, but I will post the actual cost when I verify it.

***Moderators if this violates board rules, I apologize.. I did not see anything prohibiting it...and i offered the same thing last year.******

UPDATE

I just got the call from the Pirates. They are selling me the tickets for $14 each! So the total cost for this is as follows..

$14 each for the Clemente Plate game ticket
$1 for each plate for packing material
+ actual shipping!

additionally, I was offered the Stargell Plate SGA tickets for the same price. This game is not until August 30th, but they are part of a set. Just keep these in mind. I can offer these now also.

*** I will need you to pay in advance for each ticket. I have no problem giving you my address and phone number. I also have quite a bit of references. I am trying to get 150-200 tickets to each game sold to allow the same amount of kids to go to the games!

So the cost will be $14 for the ticket, $1 for packing material, and actual shipping.

Officially taking orders. You must all pay up front, as I cannot afford the amount of tickets I expect to sell.

additionally, I was offered the Stargell Plate SGA tickets for the same price. So if you want both, the tickets are $14 each...+ $1 each for packing material.....+ actual shipping.

How ever many tickets I sell, that many kids get to go to the game for free. Instead of getting the Plates, the kids get a pirate hat instead...
