Jeter back in Yankee lineup, but Damon still sick

Derek Jeter is back in the New York Yankees' lineup for the Subway Series finale, but Johnny Damon is still out because of a flu bug that's going around the clubhouse.

Jeter missed the previous two games against the Mets with a fever, headache and cough. The All-Star shortstop was set to return Sunday night, batting in his usual leadoff spot.

Melky Cabrera was in left field to replace Damon, who also sat out Saturday night's 5-0 win due to flu symptoms.

Manager Joe Girardi said Saturday that several Yankees have been sick lately, including Cabrera, pitchers Chien-Ming Wang and Phil Hughes, and second baseman Robinson Cano.

Wang was set to start Sunday night as the Yankees tried for a three-game sweep at Citi Field.
