USA annihilated Spain 119-82!
Game, set and match, just give them the gold already!  They shot 12/25 treys so they can shoot the ball Looks like they will be playing my Aussies in the quarters... China beat Germany 59-55 and the crowd went NUTS because they qualified for the quarters. Imagine how feral the crowd would be if China wins a medal!

The Men waxed Germany 106-57 this morning.
Geeeeez. And I thought Spain and Germany would eb the two toughest for Team USA, which heads into the quarter finals undefeated. Quarter Finals start On Wed!!! |

You guys are playing us Aussies in the quarters!!
Bring it on We had a rotten start, losing our first two games that we should have won. Since then we have comfortably knocked out Russia and steam rolled previously undefeated Lithuania which was SWEET REVENGE since they beat us in 2 bronze medal games Reports are coming in that Aussie are playing youses without a game plan. They are just watching great underdog olympic footages such as "miracle on ice" and Rocky movies and then playing INSPIRED Sounds like our coach has it figured out lol Interesting....

*sighs* you guys spanked us but at least we didn't surrender.
Now that Aussie is out of the medals, I am going to cheer for Redeem Team! Plus turn my attention to the ladies Aus vs USA in the final... I hope Lauren Jackson and Penny Taylor are struggling with injuries and USA are cruising at the moment.
