I do think Melo is a little overrated, but if he was on a better team I don't think I would be saying it.

I personally think Lebron is over rated.

He was destined by his fans which gaurenteed us a Championship, MVP and numerious other accolades in his fist couple of years. As of today, No rings and No MVPs.

Dont take this the wrong way. I never said he wasnt a great player. Just over rated. He hasnt done what everyone expected the messiah to do.

in all fairness Michael Jordan didnt win HIS 1st NBA Championship until his 7th season....so Lebron is still ok in my book

He is entering his 6th NBA season... I think he could still win THIS year or next year.... it will NOT be easy, BUT it's possible....over-rated? maybe but still great!

Tmac is overrated.

He never has made it out of the first round.

That can be said about anyone. My point being lebron fans deemed lebron as the best ever before he could even prove himself.

If you are going to give accolades to Lebron and make him out to be some messiah as the best player in the NBA, then please let him back it up. I mean no MVPs, No championships. They count towards greateness. Same with showing up and being clutch. Or making due with what you have.

There have been other players in the league that have done more than Lebron has done (I can rip off career stats) and yet people say Lebron is better than them. But they use the exuse he is still young and has time. Well then give him time and let him "Earn" his accolades before making him the best.

It takes a whole team to win a championship, not just one player. Jordan never did it without Pippen. And no 1 person has single handlely won a championship for a team. It took a team to do it.

Again.. Lebron in my opinion is over rated. Not because he isnt a great player. In fact I think he is a great player. But He is in my opinion over rated to the hype that people built up and expected from him. He has proven that he is a champion "Yet". Im sure he will someday. But till then this hype of him being the best is what makes him over rated.

And as far as no MVPs or rings in concerned, he's not even in his late 20s yet.

What this all boils down to is GotGibson took your bait and you pretty much copied/pasted the same argument that you've been making for God knows how long on about a dozen other sites. The Lebron argument stops here.
