2. George Mikan
3. Kareem

if it was who would win head to head, shaq would be the best, followed by chamberlain, kareem russel, and mikan.

You are crazy! If someone sat on a bench for 12 seasons, never seeing a minute in a game, but won 12 rings by luck, would that make them the greatest player ever? I can not believe someone is actually putting Russell over Jordan or anyone over Jordan for that matter. Will someone else please tell this guy he is crazy!

Jordan is the best player ever. He did everything. He also knew how to win. He made the players around him better. And if points were the deciding factor it would be Kareem, but he is not even the best at his own position ever. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply wrong.

ron artest just made the bigest impact one player ever could he played better then jordan ever could this year and no one thinks hes the greatest.and if u dont agree with what i said about artest all the guys at espn is wrong.artest took a team under 500 and they got to the playoff atfer he join the team.he made that team better the players better and even talked about him in mvp voting.all this after he missed half the year but yet no one is calling him the greastest.i seem to recall when jordan retired and came back to the same team he had before same players.in the playoffs and choked.they lost in what the first round.if you want to talk about talent d.wade will be better then jordan in the long run.he carried the load in the playoff he first year in the leauge and he got a ring by his third and a playoffs mvp title and he just getting started jordan didnt have a mvp or a title by his third year.

jordan was crap till he won 6 rings plain and spimple he name never came up as the greatest till he started winning rings and with that it proves rings matter and russell had 11 case closed

good to know robert horry is in the same tier as jordan. im not saying bill russell isnt good, because he is definitely a top 5 player along with MJ, Big O, Wilt, and Magic. but you cant take anything away from MJ. He was the greatest. he led the bulls to back to back 72-10/69-13 seasons and 6 rings. RUssel had an amazing supporting cast during his tenure there: Cousy, Havlicek, Heinsohn, KC Jones, Sam Jones, Lovellette, Phillip, Ramsey, Risen, and Sharman. With Russell thats 11 HOFers. Now there is no doubt that Russell was the leader but that is a fine cast to have around you. On the 90s bulls i only saw 2 definite HOFers Jordan and Pip, and maybe Grant and Rodman. Im not taking anything away from russell, but give respect where it is due, Jordan is the G.O.A.T.
