Calvin Johnson banner, tried some new things!

Very simple on 7 layers including the bg. I was thinking that maybe I should take out the GT sign. What would you rate and do you think I should? I changed the size to 350x125, b/c I am in a GFX battle with someone on another site and that is the size we are doing. We are starting it tomorrow at 10:30 so I have some time to work on my skillz.

the pic and text are too blurry, and yea the sign is out of place. maybe use their logo

ok, I was hoping the text wasnt too blurry! Now I have to start it ALL over again! good thing it is only 7 layers!

Here's the key to great sig making:

It's better to spend hours on 1, then produce 10 sigs per hour. Spend more time per sig

yeah the pic and text shouldn't be blurry like that...

Yeah, it does seem fuzzy.

Try this.

Select the size of your Banner BEFORE you put anything on it.

If you resize the Banner after it is created then your pictures will get distorted.

Also try this. When you open a new picture (before you cut it and paste it to the new Banner) go to Image Size and make the Resolution 96 px per inch. (this is going to make the picture larger, so check before you do this so you know what to reset the picture to once it has been resized).

If I were to rate it out of 10 , probably give it a 4 . But from the first I seen you make with that dog . You are are getting way better .

Well, the reason it is blurry, is b/c I tried blending it. idk why the text is so blurry. I think it is the font.
