I think the lightning is pretty nice. I just think that it would be better if the render's colors showed more. and the text is hard to read.

Disagreed. Its called a pic effect. Something your sigs lack IMO. Just trying to offer some adivce, dont take it the wrong way.

well it looks like the wrong pic effect. i dont mind advice, but was trying to help you as well. if you arent going to change the effect then at least try to make the colors match, otherwise it doesnt flow.
