MONTREAL -- With word spreading about Roberto Luongo’s appointment as captain of the Canucks, the question becomes would Carey Price be opposed to one day donning the “C” for the Canadiens?

Do not think that is going to happen here in montreal.......to many good players on the team plus Saku is going to be here for a little while longer ...our team is so good we can't even bring up our young guys.....would be nice to bring up Max Pacioretty though he had a really good preseason and looks like he is ready to play..the only way I think they would get to bring him up is if someone gets hurt or doesn't play well.....I see you are a Sergei Collector the small guy with all the moves and balls of steal would like to see him break out this year he has big upside potential......

Thanks for the compliments. And yeah I would have to agree, don't see Price making Captain anytime this century, nor do I believe he deserves it. Saku Koivu is our leader.

Finally someone who acknowledges Sergei's grit, he's in the middle of every fight during his time on the ice. No one will give him the credit he deserves, all you hear is.. Andrei is better !

Andrei may have the good moves and the scoring ability but IMO Sergei is a more complete package.. He just needs to develop, he's like a very young speedy Saku Koivu in his own way. He's a great playmaker, loves to pass first, score second.

I agree but having said that no goalie will actually get the 'C'. They simply went public with that whole thing about Lunongo to keep him happy, they want him to stay in Vancouver. Not to take anything away from him though because he IS the leader of the Cancucks as Marty Brodeur has been the leader since Scott Stevens left the Devils.

I found the article about Carey Price laughable at best, and thats coming from a die hard Habs fan who defends this kid on a regular basis. Maybe in 10 years from now I will eat my words but for right now, Carey Price is no where near a leader for our team, it's Saku Koivu.

Hey SK74.....they are coming out with habs 100th anniversary cards and are going to be sweet not sure on the pricing yet but are going to have some nice inserted 1/1's have to check my hobby shop this week he has the product sheet.....and will be sold in packs and boxes from what I here not sets......can't wait they should be great ......and I am going to do my best to get the set going to be my main goal........thought I should let you know from one hab fan to another......hockey's greatest team of all time......
